Joy-Luck Club Group: This group was told to read up to page 101 by Thursday 10-28, at which time they'll have a quiz. Tomorrow, Wednesday, they will complete a short writing project (letter described in previous post)
To Kill a Mockingbird: This group was told to read chapters 8 and 9 by Thursday 10-28, at which time they'll have a quiz. Wednesday, they also will complete a short writing project.
The Outsiders, 8th grade group:We read through page 61 in the book. Tomorrow,Wednesday, 10-27, we will complete a writing assignment which was described on the work blog yesterday. There will be reading homework on Wednesday night and a quiz on Thursday 10-28.
Holes group, 6th and 7th (Leo, Gustavo, Michael, Esmeralda, Jorge, Nathan, Marisol, Clarissa, Dayna =Group1 and Gisselle, Diana, Dalisa, Andrea G. Kate A., Nazaria, Danny, Kellie, Jose, Vanessa, Joshua J., Joshua C. =Group 2)
In these groups, we finished Chapter 9 in Holes . Tomorrow, Wed. 10-27, students will complete a writing assignment.
