6th Grade: Spelling and Vocabulary Unit 1, 4or 5 pages due on Friday Oct.8; remainder due Friday Oct. 15. History: We will finish Chapter 5 this week and take a chapter test on Monday Oct. 11. We will continue to read the novel Holes.

7th Grade: Spelling and Vocabulary Unit 1, 4 or 5 pages due on Friday Oct. 8, remainder due Friday October 15.History: We will finish Chapter 3; I will be introducing a small project on Wednesday which will be due on Monday October 11. We will continue to read Holes and The Outsiders.

8th Grade: Spelling and Vocabulary Unit 1, 4 or 5 pages due on Friday Oct. 8, remainder due on Friday October 15. Remember Me group: Read up to p 155 by Wednesday. Quiz Wednesday.
Mockingbird  group: Read up to p 41 by Wednesday. Quiz Wednesday.
Joy Luck Club: No homework yet.  History: We will finish Chapter 8 this week; I will be introducing a small project on Wednesday.

6th graders: Do 1 Brain Drain on the blog, at least 15 sentences. Work on your Spelling/Vocab. workbook assignment. Read History, Chapter 5. Complete Reading Notes in workbook if possible. If you have time or inclination, come get a copy of Holes and read chapter 6. Please return all copies of books that you get out.

7th graders:  Do 1 Brain Drain on the blog, at least 15 sentences.Work on your Spelling/vocab. workbook assignment. Read History, Chapter 3. Complete reading notes in history workbook if possible. If you have time or inclination, choose a partner and begin to brainstorm about your history project. If you have time or inclination, come get a copy of Holes and read chapter 6; or get a copy of The Outsiders and read chapter 2. Please return all books you get out.
