Wishes

Part I.  Wish List

Write down all the wishes and desires that come into your mind.  Put down every wishful thought that comes into your head, no matter how wild or foolish or extravagant it seems -- so long as it’s something you want to have, or be, or have happen.

Write in a steady flow, wish after wish, without stopping to dwell on any one wish or to be critical in any way.  You can wish wishes for other times and places, and for other people, too.

See if you can get as many as 30 wishes.

Part II.  One Wish Extended

Read over your list of wishes several times.  Pick out one wish that appeals to you and have an extended imaginary reflection about it.

That is, just sit and relax and let your imagination fantasize and travel with the wish.  What might happen if the wish were granted?  How would things be?  Would they change?  Who would be around?  What would the people be like?  What would everybody be doing?  How would you fit in?

Write down everything you can about the fulfillment of this wish.  If you like, put your thoughts in the form of a story.
