All groups: Using what you know about Elements of Plot, determine these elements based on the story that your grade read yesterday. Identify the following:
Grade 6: Find 5 facts about Gary Soto. Write each one in a sentence. Then, write at least 2 paragraphs about a time when you were very very anxious or scared about something you were gonna have to do.
Grade 7: Find 5 facts about Langston Hughes. Write each one in a sentence. Then write at least 2 paragraphs about a time when someone was very kind and/or generous to you.
Grade 8: Find 5 facts about O. Henry. Then write at least 2 paragraphs about a time when you had a plan that did not go as you had expected.
**** all grades: Do not worry about spelling, capitalization, or punctuation. Write as though you were speaking to me, just telling me a story. At least 2 paragraphs, but, the more description, the better.
